About a year ago I bought these ash slabs at a yard sale. As per usual, my friend Joe did a stellar job making our outdoor table.
At first I wanted a river edge table however; there was no epoxy that would withstand the uv rays. So we moved to a design incorporating the black walnut butterfly dovetails in the cracks.
At the last minute I found a Lee Valley table base that really made the design work.
I’ve been mortaring in flagstone over concrete for six days now and will be re-levelling the floating flagstone and the church pews for a couple of days.
Next week, I’ll be working on the cobblestones and base for a shed I recently tor down.
Then it’s on to the waterfall for the koi pond.
