Visit me at one of several S-W Ontario Antique Markets. Where To Find Us
I'm not sure whether this plane is English or Scottish. It has that stylized lever cap that the Scots usually do the "pierced heart and shield" to. The infill appears to be the typical English Walnut. Enclosed rear tote sculpted down to the rear sidewalls. Throat looks to be in good condition. Iron is a James Howarth. G. Hutchison would have been one of the previous owners and most likely the maker.
