When I posted that Rosewood Wallace (Montreal) Plow plane a couple of weeks back, I mentioned that there was another Wallace plow that I would post later. I wanted to give my friend Larry Miller time to bring it back to life, as it was in a pretty dried out state.


This is a very rare Wallace “bridled” Plow from an earlier time when he was working at Dundee, Scotland. I believe that only Mathieson and Preston made bridled plows. There is quite a connection between Dundee, Scotland and Canadian Plane makers. The Dryburghs came from Dundee as well.
That rear passenger side handle is actually OEM equipment in case you were wondering.
